But reading your post made me think "I wish I could afford to take more than 12 weeks of maternity leave!" Being home for a longer stretch with the baby-to-come would be great. I shouldn't complain, b/c my man teaches halftime and thus will be able to be home with the baby a lot, and my teaching schedule is flexible enough that I'll be able to be home when he's not (at least for the first year).
